Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 4, 2026

ToolsBracker ("we", "us", "our") operates toolsbracker.com — a free, browser-based platform for gaming benchmarks including click speed, reaction time, typing speed, and 30+ other tests. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

By using ToolsBracker you agree to the practices described below. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the site.

1. No Data Collection from Benchmarking Tools

The core benchmarking tools on ToolsBracker — including the CPS Test, Reaction Time Test, Typing Speed Test, and all other interactive tests — do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your scores exist only in your browser session. When you close or refresh the tab, the data is gone. We never see it.

No account is required. No results are uploaded to our servers. No keystroke logging occurs at any point during testing.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit ToolsBracker, standard web server and analytics tools may collect:

  • Your browser type and version
  • The pages you visit and how long you spend on them
  • Your approximate geographic region (country or city level, not precise location)
  • The device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) and operating system
  • Referral source (e.g., search engine or another website that linked to us)

This data is aggregated and anonymous. We cannot identify you personally from it.

3. Cookies

ToolsBracker uses cookies in two contexts:

Analytics Cookies

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. These cookies help us improve performance and content. They do not track you across other websites.

Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense / DoubleClick DART)

ToolsBracker uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

The DART cookie enables Google to show you ads relevant to your interests. It does not collect personally identifiable information. You can opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy.

You can also manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdSense — advertising platform. Privacy Policy
  • Vercel Analytics — site performance and usage analytics. Privacy Policy
  • Google Fonts — web font delivery. Fonts are loaded from Google servers; your IP address may be sent to Google.

5. GDPR Rights (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

  • Right to access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data where applicable.
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit how we process your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing of your data, including for direct marketing.

Because we collect minimal data through the site itself, most of these rights will apply to data held by our third-party processors (Google, Vercel). You may exercise those rights directly with those providers or by contacting us at contact@toolsbracker.com.

6. CCPA Rights (California Users)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you additional rights:

  • The right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold.
  • The right to delete personal information held by us.
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
  • The right to non-discrimination when exercising your CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, email us at contact@toolsbracker.comwith the subject line "CCPA Request."

7. Children's Privacy

ToolsBracker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Data Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Since we do not store personal data on our own servers, exposure risk is minimal. Third-party services we use maintain their own security practices as documented in their respective privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
